“Virtual Tour: A Reduced-Carbon Footprint Concert Series, California-New York”
April 7, 2013 is one of three concerts in the “Virtual Tour: A Reduced-Carbon Footprint Concert Series” coordinated by Mark Dresser and Michael Dessen in California. Telematic music is live performance via the internet by musicians in different geographic locations. The concert features renowned performers renowned experimental jazz and computer music musicians, that are long-time collaborators, performing together telematically in California and New York. The program is new works by Mark Dresser, Michael Dessen, Nicole Mitchell, and Sarah Weaver. The concert can be attended in-person at either of the performance sites. A high-quality audio/video recording will be made of the concert for future release.
